Alzheimer's is a devastating disease that robs people of their very individuality. It's hard to watch a friend or family member suffer with something like this. There is hope though. There is always hope. My own grandfather is starting to get pretty bad and it's hard on my mother and her side of the family to watch their father fade away into not even knowing them. I can't imagine and hope that I never have to find out. The truth is, though, that people are dealing with this every single day.The Alzheimer's Association Memory Walk has been helping raise awareness and support for Alzheimer's research since 1989. To date, they've been responsible for $225 million in funding to tackle this issue and find a cure. Are you personally dealing with Alzheimer's in some way or are just wanting to help? Become a team captain! The association is looking for team captains to sign up as soon as possible to organize teams around the country for the official Memory Walk. This is a really important happening and they need solid individuals to make the event a success! Is that you?Check out the Alzheimer's Association Memory Walk website for all the information you need to get started and thanks so much for getting involved with this worthy cause. Here's to your health!
